FARM EQUIPMENT SALES

Deer Country Equipment has a challenging and rewarding sales opportunity for a highly motivated, creative, customer focused, sales professional that understands Manitoba Agriculture. Post secondary education in the agriculture is required. If you have a passion for the equipment business and have a passion to develop a customer network, we want to hear from you. Qualified applicants will be required to travel extensively and possess strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and sales skills. Computer proficiency is required for the success of this position. Compensation is driven by success, and a successful sales representative will drive a large income. POSITION AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY!

Qualifications and responsibilities include:

• Post Secondary education with an Agriculture related major.
• Generate leads and increase market share by developing and managing a geographic territory.
• Establish and build relationships with potential customers.
• Provide proposals and solutions for customers’ needs based on an in-depth understanding of requirements from the customer’s perspective.
• Prepare and present sales proposals.
• Travel the territory an average of 75% of the time.
• Set up and demonstrate equipment to develop and build awareness, knowledge and requirement for Deer Country product within our territory.
• Provide top notch customer service to all customers
• Submit monthly plan for upcoming month, including routes to be traveled, products to be promoted and leads to be followed.
• Submit and or present weekly report of the past week including ”hot sheet” with all leads that are being followed and percentage of close.
• Plan and participate in customer seminars.
• Develop relationships and leverage your skills with the other members of the sales team.
• Attend regular sales meeting to share and learn with sales team.
• Participate in all aspects of the business as a team player with a positive attitude, professional demeanor and a high desire to increase business and personal success.
• Manage own time in order to meet goals.
